News brief: 2018 graduation for veteran scholarship students set Greene County News Briefs (Photo: File photo) Greene County graduates up to 20 students GREENE COUNTY — Local resident active military personnel may be eligible for help to further their education after earning their high school diploma through the Greene County Public Library's award-winning veteran scholarship program. This year, three students have already enrolled in university programs to pursue undergraduate degrees. This comes on the heels of 11 other students who graduated in the spring. A ceremony for graduates in 2018 will be held on May 23 at 10:15 a.m. at the Oxford Academy, 3446 Center Road. According to Liz Hanna, branch manager of the Xenia Community Library, eight veteran scholarship students graduated in the spring.
