This year, three students have already enrolled in university programs to pursue undergraduate degrees. This comes on the heels of 11 other students who graduated in the spring. A ceremony for graduates in 2018 will be held on May 23 at 10:15 a.m. at the Oxford Academy, 3446 Center Road. According to Liz Hanna, branch manager of the Xenia Community Library, eight veteran scholarship students graduated in the spring. Three students received merit scholarships, one graduate's family was awarded a college/career scholarship and another student was awarded the Lemonade Kids Challenge for community service. If you are a veteran who has earned a high school diploma, a service-connected disability of the equivalent of at least 50 percent of your Gross Salary (GHQ Pay) or above, you may qualify to receive a monthly scholarship.
